The Halton Skills Competition is an annual event, where students in grades 4-12 from the Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) and Halton District School Board (HDSB) present their technical skills and compete in a friendly environment.
Students showcase their talents in the areas of: architectural design, healthcare, I.T. network systems, video production, graphic design, carpentry, animation, robotics, welding, auto service, and hairstyling.
- Participation in the Halton Skills Competition doubled in numbers from last year! 50 elementary and 74 secondary students from HCDSB competed last year.
- Qualified student competitors will represent HCDSB at the Ontario Technological Skills Competition, which is Canada’s largest skilled trade and technology competition.

The Halton Skills Competition will be held March 28th, 2018 at Georgetown District High School in Georgetown. The Skills Competition is an event where students from Grade 4 – 12 from the Halton District School Board and Halton Catholic School Board demonstrate their technical skills in a friendly but competitive environment.
