The Food and Nutrition class at St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Secondary School embarked on a fun-filled, educational trip to Guelph University, during the month of February. Students in the Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) program were able to tour the campus, the shared facilities, and have lunch at the student-run restaurant.
In addition, Loyola students were able to experience post-secondary life as they sat in a classroom, and received a special presentation by Assistant Professor, Valerie Allan. The students were greeted by a round of applause from Guelph students as they entered the classroom to observe – what an experience!
